Nestled on Micklegate among shops, cafés and private dwellings, The Falcon is a modern pub in a Grade II listed Victorian building. Re-opened November 2022 following an extended closure of four and a half years, The Falcon is now operated by Turning Point from nearby Knaresborough. It serves three cask ales and eight keg beers, many from their own brewery but also some well selected guests. A blackboard at the back of the bar lists all the beers together with styles, strengths, and prices for pints, halves and thirds. A great addition to the strong selection of real ale pubs in the Micklegate/Bishophill area.
