A former nightclub which had its licence suspended in 2012 could be turned into housing, if a new development gets council backing (Feb 2016 new item).
Historic Interest
A report in the Ipswich Journal** on 08 Oct in 1895 states that : At the Sudbury Petty Sessions on 03.10.1895, a temporary transfer of the licence for the Great Eastern Railway Hotel, Sudbury, from Mr BODGER to Mr Arthur DIGGINS, was granted. In Dec 1982 edition of Last Orders*** it was reported that the Great Eastern was previously Wards & Charringtons owned but is now a Free House with handpumps.
