The front of this village pub is a beamed restaurant serving genuine home cooked food. The separate bar area is organised around the fireplace and there's an adjacent area with sofas. Old photos of the pub and long gone railway station decorate the walls. Beyond that is another bar with a couple of pool tables and a skittle alley, making this a pub of contrasts. Fish and chip night Friday.
