This Pub is Permanently Closed
A small corner pub which is one of the oldest licensed premises in Mayfair, having been first licensed in 1685 and named after George Monk, created Duke of Albermarle by Charles II for assistance during the restoration. Rebuilt in 1895, there is an old street sign in the corner of the bar and children are welcome upstairs in the restaurant.
Closed in 2006.
