After a period of closure, this site reopened with a new name and under new management. The Hawthorn is managed by Peter Creed & Tom Noest, who operate five upmarket gastropubs in the Cotswolds.
The focus in the Hawthorn is on simple pub food, with a straightforward drinks menu and beer selection. Food is sourced as much as possible from their existing Cotswold suppliers and includes bar snacks, steak nights, chicken nights, and Sunday roasts.
Two handpumps for cask ale. Toilets are upstairs.
