Modern Green King Hungry Horse close to Bromborough shops. Traditional bar with pub games at front of pub (facing Bromborough Cross) with larger rooms and eating areas towards the rear.

Historic Interest

Opened in 1958 and replaced the nearby old Royal Oak which was then closed and is now a shop. Was known as the Cromwell Hotel for a short time around 1980. Described in 1980 as a large pub with two comfortable lounges and a bar boasting 5 dart boards, serving Whitbread Special Cask Bitter. Taken over by Hardy & Hanson, finally becoming a Greene King pub.
