This Pub is Closed Long Term

**Please note, as of December 2019 this pub is closed whilst a local group is trying to save it even in a reduced capacity multi-purpose building. As of August 2025 this group was still working on a possible solution and the local Camra branch is involved.

Imposing late Victorian street corner local. It's large sloping bar, with its deep and shallow ends, situated in the curve of the building is a great community melting pot. There is a comfortable lounge and a small walled garden. Open mic nights and quiz nights are regular attractions.
