A tidy traditional premises with trade predominantly from the local community, attracting a mixed age group. 23/01/2015 -opened with emphasis on cask ales by an enthusiastic team led by former proprietor of WF6 Brewery which was located nearby. Wakefield CAMRA Pub of the Year 2015 and Pub of the Season (Autumn). Rear bar has 4 hand-pulls, front bar has 2. There is an on-site microbrewery in a brewing hall:Tarn 51 Brewing, This may offer 3+ Tarn 51 beers alongside 3 guests. Tea, coffee and chocolate available
