This Pub is Permanently Closed

It was a street corner pub handy for Pegwell Bay which is a short walk downhill from the pub. It had a fine interior plus a pool table. But would it re-open for Christmas 2019? No, sadly it remained shut and on 9th October 2022 suffered a very serious fire of unknown cause. In August 2023 permission was granted to demolish it for residential development. Planning application Ref F/TH/23/0702 | Erection of 4No, two and a half storey semi-detached 3-bed dwellings and associated parking and landscaping following demolition of existing public house and outbuilding. Approved 29 Aug 2023.
