A traditional country inn with real fires in a pretty rural setting overlooking rolling countryside. Some food is sourced from the pub's own smallholding and nearby gardens and whilst the quality of the food is excellent, portions are not large and prices are top end. Presently Otter Ale is the only cask ale being served but when trade picks up could have another cask ale from regional brewers. The pub opens for breakfast at 8am, but not the bar.
