Entering the Mitre (mind your head) is to experience a pub that really knows its role in life. The welcome is warm; there are armchairs in the bar and the beer is sourced both locally and nationally. Flagged floors extend from the bar area to the dining room: well-behaved children are welcome. Local version of a Norfolk 'Twister' mounted on the wall - spin for a pint. In 2023 ownership of the pub transferred to the local Apex microbrewery who have now completely renovated the two level elevated garden. Closed Mondays Oct-Mar.
