This Pub is Permanently Closed
Basic, if a little 'rough & ready', three-roomed traditional drinker's pub, situated adjacent to Wilnecote railway station. The three handpumps all dispense high quality Draught Bass. All the usual pub games are played in this welcoming local which has a separate pool room. The main drinking area is the public bar, where the walls are adorned with railway memorabilia. For a more peaceful pint try the lounge, known as the clubroom. Buses 115, 116, 117, 118 from Tamworth stop close by.
Still trading in 2010 it was demolished the following year. In 2019 the remains of the front wall are still visible and the site has not been redeveloped.
