Situated in the main student quarter, the "Tav" attracts regulars from all walks of life and has a reputation for the variety of its live music at weekends, most Wednesdays, and Monday Open Mic nights. A large, single room pub and former haunt of Dylan Thomas, who is commemorated in a separate snug area. Large heated outdoor drinking area at the front. Quiz night Tuesday. Although there is no subscription sports TV, popular universally available sports are shown.
