Set on the Mumbles village seafront, this imposing two storey pub & restaurant has stunning views over Swansea Bay. It's now family run with a passion for home cooked Caribbean food, Hearty pub grub and a popular Carvery!
Downstairs there is a long main bar and it can happily accommodate walk in customers for both drinks and food. Upstairs is used more for the restaurant, where booking in advance is recommended. The open plan interior on both floors has a fresh, light modern feel throughout.
History:- A pub since at least 1803, it was eventually taken over by the Vale of Neath Brewery and later on by Whitbread's, who converted it to a Beefeater Steak House. In the 2000's it was a pub owned and run by the Brains brewery, but in 2021 it was privately taken over and was for a few years primarily a seafood restaurant. After a short period of closure it reopened under new local ownership in July 2024.
