With large gardens and a cosy interior with log fires and beamed ceilings this pub is popular with locals and visitors alike. A piano near the bar is occasionally played by the family's son. Food is now only available Sundays and for events (check website). In the bar there are 3 real ale handpumps. The Thames Path is nearby making the pub attractive to hikers.
