This popular real ale pub was refurbished in 2017 to give it a smart new interior which retains the two room feel with a divider splitting the bar. There are 12 handpumps, but currently the beer range is 7 with 8 on the weekend. The beers are a mix of regional breweries and some from further afield.
No food available, but the pub is community hub with regular activities - Monday is Darts night, Tuesday Poker, Wednesday Crib, Thursday Quiz/open Mic. and there is a meat raffle on Sunday.
