This Pub is Closed Long Term
Closed on 17 March 2022 after licence was suspended with immediate effect following a fight in the pub on 12 March 2022. It has since remained closed.
The pub had reopened in January 2022 after being closed from the beginning of December 2021 for the Christmas and New Year period.
Previously the Mitcham Mint, the pub reopened on 14 February 2019 under a new name but retaining the same management following comprehensive refurbishment by pub operator North and South Leisure.
A friendly single bar corner pub serving mainly local clientèle.
Real ale had been reintroduced by the manager in November 2017 after the handpumps had been removed in 2014 due to 'lack of demand'. Following a promising start, the pub offered just one changing ale, most recently Doom Bar and Proper Job.
Eight keg fonts dispense a selection of popular lagers, ciders, bitters and stout (Guinness).
