This Pub is Permanently Closed

Licence revoked in June 2015 after repeated alcohol sales after hours. Planning permission granted in December 2015 for demolition and replacement by a five storey block of 25 flats above two commercial units.

Originally 'The Ale House', it took took over the name of a nearby old pub when it was demolished and, with disco, sports TV and pool, was latterly popular with the local Afro-Caribbean community.
