A basic back street community local and sports bar, briefly revived by enthusiastic tenants before closing for upstairs conversion to flats and new residential building with the loss of both beer garden and ancillary accommodation for the residue of the pub downstairs. Planning permission would however be required for change of pub use at ground and basement levels.
