This Pub is Permanently Closed

Aawaiting redevelopment. Formerly Chopper, with the heliport nearby. Opposite Sambrook's Brewery (see photo). Popular with the West Indian community until 30 June 2013 closure following acquisition by property company Urbanicity with four storeys of upmarket flats planned for the site. Another property company now owns the site and proceeded to demolish the pub.
