This Pub is Closed Long Term

Bar and restaurant attached in 2019 to the new Premier Inn on the site of the Henry J Beans.

This establishment never pretended to be a pub and its inclusion as such in our database was misleading. As the signage read, 'BAR + BLOCK Steakhouse'. As a licensed restaurant, it offered mainly steaks and cocktails.

Website now reads:

BAR + BLOCK HAS NOW CLOSED. DINING CONTINUES FOR PREMIER INN GUESTS.

​We've recently made some changes to our business, resulting in the closure of all Bar + Block restaurants. We'd like to thank you for dining with us over the years.

While our Bar + Block restaurants have closed, Premier Inn guests can still enjoy great value food and drink options on-site or next to the hotel.
