This Pub is Closed Long Term

Run by Cameron’s until November 2019, the pub was sold with new owners changing use to retail without the required planning permission. Following enforcement action a retrospective planning application (ST/0473/23/FUL) succeeded in obtaining temporary planning approval until 31th December 2026.

The judgement means the retail use needs a further planning application at that time & further allows time to establish whether there is enthusiasm in the local community for public house use to be re-established at the site & that when the temporary time limit condition comes to an end, the site could revert back to the former public house use without the need for a planning application.
