A sizeable former coaching inn with a separate restaurant & cosy snug bar. The large former restaurant area now hosts a pool table instead. There's occasional live music in main bar. Usually 5 real ales on tap.

Historic Interest

A report in the Ipswich Journal** on Jul-01 in 1876 when Louisa Nunn was the landlady states that : Henry Sibton was accussed of stealing a pewter mug, valued at 2s from the White Horse. He was aquitted when his housekeeper admitted the offence. The building dates from the 15th century or earlier.
