This Pub is Permanently Closed
Once a house belonging to the Bamford (JCB) family and later the home of Mr Frank Hawthorn. Converted into a pub in the 1950s. The description in 2004 read "The Weaver Lodge comprises a large lounge with car park. Private accommodation, flat above the licensed premises consisting of 3 bedrooms. Guide Rent £25,000, Stock & Glassware £2,000". Uttoxeter Civic Society fought to save it but it was demolished to make room for 22 houses & 9 flats.
