This Pub is Permanently Closed

Beer sales plummeted during a misguided attempt to run the pub as an upmarket restaurant and it was not possible to revive them. It was closed in 2009 and converted into offices.

Historic Interest

Peter Bough was described as an innkeeper and brewer here in 1881, presumably this was a home-brew pub. He was 39 years old and came from Worcester.
