This Pub is Closed Long Term
Large roadside inn on A59 close to Leeds - Liverpool canal and Pennine Way. The comfortable L-shaped main bar has exposed stonework, some timber beams and a homely real fire in winter. The separate restaurant area also has a wood burning stove and views over the canal. The large outdoor seating area is a pleasant place to while away a summer's afternoon or evening. Free parking for small motor homes; dogs, hikers, cyclists, boaters are all welcome!
The restaurant/function room that can hold 130 people or 60 seated. The menu features many favourites using local produce where possible. Speciality coffees are available all day, afternoon teas, cakes and scones also available. Premium lagers, speciality gins and a good selection of wines are available. Real ales include Copper Dragon Golden Pippin along with Timothy Taylor Landlord and other local guest ales.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (Guest beers may be branded as 'Tets' after the pub dog.) and 2 regular beers.
