Moved to current larger premises near the bus station in May 2022.

As the name suggests, The Sound Bar combines music, primarily vinyl record sales, and a bar. Popular with locals and visitors alike, especially music fans. Can be very therapeutic to flick through the album sleeve racks while sipping your drink and listening to your favourite music on request. A range of musical instruments hangs from the ceiling and the walls are adorned with record posters and album covers. Soul on 1st Wednesday of the month, Open Mic Nights Last Wednesday of the month. Quiz night 1st Thursday of the month, New Music 3rd Thursday of the month. Live music sessions every other Friday and every Sunday afternoon. Check pub Events Listings on website for updates.

May stay open till late on quiz and music nights. It can be loud and busy at weekends.
