This is a totally refurbished family owned town centre pub, aimed at attracting a wide range of customers. There is a dining area at one end and a dance floor at the other. A large screen is available for sports fans and a sound system capable of keeping the Oswestry night time economy lively. The local Stonehouse Brewery Station Bitter is a firm favourite of the regulars. Formerly the 'Golden Tankard' and latterly the 'Oswestrian' Conservative club.
Real ale has been reintroduced after new owners took over in late September 2026. Two from Monty's Brewery are served.
The details shown here are from the previous ownership, so there may be some changes. The local CAMRA branch will undertake a survey in due course.
