In July 2024 this pub was changed to be open to residents of the adjacent hotel. In December 2024 a planning application was approved to convert the restaurant into hotel accommodation.

Typical formulaic Brewers Fayre pub restaurant with Premier Inn attached, adjacent to Tesco supermarket to the north west of the town centre.
