This Pub is Permanently Closed

The Cellar Bar opened in 1991 and closed in July 2016. In June 2019 the bar was converted into a Dance Studio.

The Sports Bar in Albert Road adjacent to the main high street. Despite being on ground level, the single-roomed bar was decked out as a cellar, with subdued lighting. There was a raised area with sofas to relax on a pool table on the lower level, together with a small dance floor. Lots of TV screens throughout showed live football and other sports. There was a small patio at the front of the bar and DJ's played on Friday and Saturday Nights, with occasional live music.
