Spacious cafe bar in what used to be a Peacocks clothing store. Part of the 'Lounges' chain, so much emphasis on coffee and serving a wide range of food, including breakfasts and gluten free and vegan menus. Board games are provided together with toys for children and refreshments for dogs. A sign at the entrance asks you to wait to be shown to a table, but service is at the bar. No real ale, there is one craft keg font and a number of imported lagers
