This Pub is Closed Long Term
The pub closed suddenly in February 2026 when the leaseholder surrendered the lease and its future is uncertain.
Formerly the Sir Douglas Haig, in recent years this was a bright and airy pub and coffee house with a strong focus on welcoming walkers and cyclists, which was reflected in the decor. The single room was bright and had parquet flooring throughout, with a welcoming log fire at one end during the winter. 1 or 2 real ales were available depending on demand rotating between local breweries, often Surrey Hills or Dorking.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
