A good example of a Victorian pub, the North Coamp, was formerly a hotel and is two story brick building, plastered on the upper front with green glazed bricks. The single storey extension was the North Camp Music Hall.

Taken over by Blackrose pub company in 2019 and marketed as a Sports Bar, although there is a separate 'local's bar' where the music is turned off. The large bar area features several widescreen sports TVs, pools tables, and a darts board, emphasising the pub's roots in the local community, not far from the military lands on the opposite side of the Lynchford Rd. At the front of the pub there is a small patio area.
