Opened in 2015, this is one of a chain of brew pubs with the brewing equipment on show in the pub, set in pleasant modern surroundings. The outside area is poplar in warm weather and is also the setting for live music performed by solo artists.

Two regular and one changing beers are brewed, based on English and American styles. The food menu includes pub meals, small plates and children's options. Various levels of brewing experience are available to book.

Close to the station and town centre, the pub is popular as a local meeting place and the surroundings are quiet and pleasant.

A pair of houses from the late 18th century converted to a pub early 19th century. Grade II Listed. Historic England list entry 1217475
