The last surviving old building in an area that has been extensively redeveloped, it displays a classic tiled frontage of the historic local Marston's Brewery. It reopened in 2024 after many years of closure and some intervening temporary uses for the tourist trade.
Historic Interest
Once called J J Murphy' s before it was called the Swan Inn. A lovely tiled frontage including picture tiling with a pair of swans and incorporating the pub's name. Part of The Quay Conservation Area. The pub had closed around 2006 and was converted to a museum/visitor centre but was converted back to a pub in May 2024.
