1930's purpose built pub, previously called the 'Heavitree' and owned by the brewery of the same name until 2009. Now in private ownership, it is just outside the town centre and is a welcoming community oriented pub, although it does not sell real ale, it does sell bottled ales. The single bar area has a couple of 'snugs' and an open kitchen that is reputed to to serve very good and reasonable priced meals, including a Sunday roast.

A harbour-hugging trail with fishing-town charm, characterful pubs, and a serious range of ale—all with the sea never far from sight.
