This Pub is Permanently Closed
Friendly, two oomed local. Now the only remaining pub in this historic village, following the closure of the St Leger Arms. It features a popular public bar and a quiet lounge, tucked around the back. Up to two changing beers are sourced from local micro-breweries & nationals. Named after the local landowning Hatfeild family. The famous St Leger horse race was first held in fields between Laughton and Firbeck aa wager between the Hatfeild and St Leger families. Handy for a visit to the nearby impressive parish church and the ruins of Roche Abbey. Recent change of licensee (Mar 2017) but then closed suddenly in May 2017. Put up for sale by July 2018.
