Large family friendly pub standing back from the road. Aimed mainly at diners and families, At one time an outlet for the nearby Harthill Village Brewery, but, following the problems with this brewery, a changing guest beer is offered alongside the two beers from Greene King. Recently attained Cask Marque accreditation. A modern food led pub, built on a site close to a farm and the long-gone colliery and near to a commercial estate. The Mineral Line Cycleway and footpath from Thurcroft runs close by.
