Originally the brewery tap of Blatch of Theale; many of the brewery buildings have been preserved and can be viewed through the car park or the ivy-clad entry further up the road. The pub was refurbished a few years ago and is now a comfortable family-friendly outlet. A number of screens show sporting events. There is a function room that can be booked for parties etc
