This low-beamed, popular village pub sits on the edge of Tilehurst, close to good walking in the nearby open fields to Sulham Woods, via the dovecote tower at Nunhide Manor. Originally an end of terrace cottage, this pub has a cosy traditional bar area a the front, a large open conservatory at the rear, and a tipi has been added at the rear, along with a wood-burning stove.
