This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.
Sadly, this very large estate pub closed in 2009.
A planning application ref no 12/00456/FUL, dated Thu 15 Mar 2012, proposed Change of use, conversion and alteration of unit 1 to café (Class A3) and hot food takeaway (Class A5), including installation of extract flue enclosed by proposed chimney, granted conditionally 17/05/2012.
A further planning application ref no 19/00644/FUL, dated Wed 24 Apr 2019, proposed Change of use of retail unit (Class A2) to restaurant/cafe (Class A3), was granted conditionally on 19/07/2019. The former public house is now trading as a café, hot food takeaway and tanning studio.
