This Pub is Closed Long Term

Gastropub and restaurant.

This is a dining pub, but retains a cosy little bar area with flagstone floor, a large fireplace and a log fire. This room is surrounded by smart restaurant areas; there is also a large and very well appointed garden, now with cosy dining pods. Close to Wytham Woods. Appears in the 2018 film 'Mama Mia 2'.

Historic Interest

Originally a farmhouse. Listed Grade ll. Late C17 extended mid/late C18. There is a listed late C17 dovecote as well.
