This grade II listed pub dating from the C17 is friendly two bar town centre pub with oak beams throughout. To the rear the pub has a large terraced garden. Re-opened in 2023, the licensees are focusing on providing a pub with a lovely community feel and a well-kept cellar. The function room is now a venue for live music, comedy and more, with details on Facebook. There are three handpumps serving one regular beers and two rotating guests.
