Historic Interest

Fellows, Morton & Clayton is a Grade II listed building (No. 1271432). Originally a Victorian office building for the coal carrying company of the same name, it was built in 1895. Converted to a public house in 1980-1 (Historic England). Fellows, Morton & Clayton has an entry on Nottingham Civic Society's Draft Heritage List (09 December 2013), which noted that it was designed by architect W. Dymock Pratt, who also designed Via Fossa. Green plaque on the wall marks the location of Nottingham's first successful balloon flight in 1813. Fellows, Morton & Clayton is in Nottingham City Council's Nottingham Canal Conservation Area.

As at November 2017, Leasehold NT492365 for the Fellows Morton & Clayton was held by Ei Group plc [Reg. No. 2562808], formerly Enterprise Inns.
