Historic Interest

A pub whose name has morphed from the New Market Hotel to the Newmarket Inn.

It has an entry on the Nottingham Local Heritage List as Heritage Asset HA264 (and formerly Nottingham Civic Society's Draft Local Heritage List (09 December 2013)) which noted that it was built in 1929 to a design by architects WB Starr & Hall and has a "white faience exterior spruced up in 2010".

The Newmarket Inn is in Nottingham City Council's Lace Market Conservation Area.
