Genuine free house in a pleasant country village with traditional beams and a wood-burner for cold winter nights. Re-opened in July 2026 under new ownership focused as a gastropub that serves high quality food. A permanent outside terrace area also features their SHIO Asian inspired street food kitchen, open Thursday to Sunday 4pm-9pm. Outside drinking area is beside the village cricket pitch for those who like the sound of leather on willow or the view as they drink.
