Marston's pub just outside of Lowdham village. Single long bar with emphasis on food. Selling Pedigree and Wainwright Amber.
The Inn dates back to the 1800’s and there is a list of licensees dating back to that time displayed in the bar. The pub welcome walkers, cyclists and dog walkers. Large beer garden, the pub is renowned for their display of hanging baskets and tubs.
Historic Interest
Previously known as The Plough, which presumably gave its name to Plough Lane. In 1855 the publican was J. Cragg and in 1876 Thomas Sears (Post Office Directories). Asset of Community Value registered 17th May 2016 and nominated by the Nottingham Branch of CAMRA. The World's End is in Newark & Sherwood District Council's Lowdham Conservation Area.
