This Pub is Permanently Closed
Two-bar pub; the front bar houses the large TV screen, table skittles and a raised stage area. A pool table can be found in the back bar. Closed in March 2017. Sold for conversion to housing.
Historic Interest
The Plough was built in the 1960s for Warwicks and is to a similar "L" shaped design as their March Hare in Nottingham. Little changed, the entrance is to the right, with lavatories off the vestibule. The Lounge is to the left with a small but later stage area and a brick bar front. The larger public bar may have been extended to the rear and has an original dark bar (Elain Harwood {Historic England}].
