An imposing corner pub with bar, lounge, snug and courtyard area. Refurbished to a very high standard as part of Lincoln Green and Everards Brewery Partnership programme 'Project William'. The bar features memorabilia to the now defunct Arnold/Daybrook 'Home Ales'. The lounge is a luxurious area featuring details of the pubs history and that of the local area. The rear courtyard is a sun trap with seating, a smokers shelter and a totally covered side area which doubles as a skittle alley. A new roof terrace was completed in early July 2023 and a snug replacing the old toilets was added alongside the new toilets. The stables area is available for hire. Brewery advertising is present on the courtyard walls, together with previous signs used by the pub. Along with the ten real ale pumps in each bar showcasing Lincoln Green beers, a regular Everards and guests from microbreweries are also available. The 'Real Cider Wall' behind the bar features 4 taps dispensing real ciders from small local producers and further afield. Nottingham CAMRA Pub of the Year 2015, and National CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year 2015. LocAle Pub of the Year 2021.

Historic Interest

A former Home Ales tied house.

The 1823 Alehouse Recognizances for the Broxtowe Hundred show the Robin Hood & Little John under Elizabeth Rimmer (County Archives C/QD/LV/4/3/2).

Known as the Robin Hood in 1855, it was a fully licensed establishment under W. Leverton and in 1876 the publican was George Oliver Wilson (Post Office Directories).

In November 2017, the Robin Hood & Little John's freehold (NT209297) was held by EVERARDS BREWERY LIMITED (Reg. No. 319261).

The cave cellars measure 8m x 3m and include a cockpit and a vat. [Referenced MNU 125 and BGS Cs1].
