Large pub in the centre of Arnold. Refurbished extensively in October 2016 and now has a modern feel, with plenty of seating. Interesting photos of old Arnold and Nottingham on display along with some Home Brewery memorabilia.
Historic Interest
In the 1823 Alehouse Recognizances for the Broxtowe Hundred, the Cross Keys was under victualler William Dickenson (County Archives C/QD/LV/4/3/94). Staying within the family for several generations, in 1855 the Cross Keys was fully licensed under J. Dickinson and in 1876 the landlady was Mrs Mary Dickinson. Formerly a Shipstone's house.
